Rise Stay OSAKA

コンセプト

This is a privately owned vacation rental house.
The site is located a few minutes' walk from JR Tsurugaoka Station in Osaka City, nestled within a dense residential district dotted with traditional row houses called Nagaya. It connects to the building at the rear via a 3m wide × 16m long alleyway off the public road.
Furthermore, to address the narrow, elongated shape of the 5m x 16m site, a central courtyard was provided within the building to bring abundant natural light inside.
The simple layout within the three-story wooden structure comprises an LDK (living-dining-kitchen), two private rooms, and utility kitchen utility areas.
This design ensures privacy for up to seven guests while creating an open, expansive internal space.
Additionally, openings in the staircase wall at the building's center allow natural light streaming through the courtyard-facing windows to change angle throughout the day.
It was a truly rewarding experience that my office coordinated everything for this project—not just the architecture and interior design, but even the selection of furniture and tableware.
For building a vacation rental within a residential environment, gaining consensus with neighbor residents is crucial. We hope this project ultimately contributes to enhancing the community.
